I’m Tanvi, the founder of YouthVolunteerConnect, a platform committed to bridging the gap between individuals eager to serve their community and organizations in need. When I started high school, I was surprised by the lack of connection between students looking to volunteer their time, and organizations that needed volunteers. I realized that many students, like myself, wanted to donate their time and efforts to purposeful causes, but they just didn’t know where to find opportunities to do so. Meanwhile, numerous organizations in my community depended on volunteer assistance to achieve their goals.
This awareness inspired me to create YouthVolunteerConnect, an initiative designed to help students discover volunteer opportunities, and provide organizations with the manpower they desperately need. YouthVolunteerConnect aims to provide students with an all-inclusive, consolidated database of volunteer events in their area.
